Version 1.2 of the City Assault map, with cutscenes, alternative gameplay and multiplayer maps can now be downloaded. Crymod Download Here moddb link coming v.soon. Please vote for use at Moddb City Assault
Screenshots of New features: as well as the original City Assault mission and new cutscenes, the biggest new features include
Opening cutscene shows the General talking to Nomad, where the General will then ask what time of day you would prefer to play (as seen in previous screenshots), and how many marines you would like on your team. Onscreen prompts will allow for you to make your decision, which will then affect the rest of the game.
In the same area that the General spoke to you, there is also a couple of walls filled with guns, for you to test. There are a number of targets set up, and if you press the button, you will have 30 seconds in which to shoot as many targets as possible

As Chain mods is currently taking a break from Lost Dimensions, we decided to challenge the team to create a SP map within 10 days.
They were well up for the challenge!
The purpose of the map was to work for/with Rad15 and to create him an environment that would allow his Advanced AI to utilise the environment for tactical onslaughts and cover.
Therefore, the map will be released alongside his Advanced AI to show best how the AI can work in such suitable environments.
Thanks go to:

Those of you familiar with the ?Lara Croft: Lost Dimensions? mod will be aware of the legal issues surrounding our mod.
We originally planned to get a copyright licence to allow us to utilise the Name, Appearance and general franchise of ?Lara Croft? owned by Eidos.
However, after much discussion within our development team, we have finally decided that we will be dropping the ?Lara Croft? franchise from our mod.
This was such, as we felt too constrained by creating a ?Tomb Raider? game; we wanted more freedom in creating a story and gameplay elements that we felt would not have been appreciated by Tomb Raider fans.
It is unfortunate that we will no longer be including ?Lara Croft?, however, the only changes that we will need to make to this mod is to remove all references to the ?Lara Croft? franchise.
In terms of the content, story and gameplay, we are still using the same models and levels that we have created so far, the story has evolved into a much larger and immersive story, and the gameplay is split between action adventure and shooting.
We do not plan to make a copycat franchise of ?Tomb Raider,? but rather create our own unique characters and settings in relation to the story we have created. Any likeness to TR is purely coincidental.
The removal has caused minimal disruption to our mod; we were able to keep our original assets that we had created, and work on this mod has stream boated along with the addition of new members. The only asset we had to remove was the Lara Croft model, and we are currently in the process of creating a new and sexy female character.
So, on behalf of Chain Mods, I would like to introduce the new LOST DIMENSIONS.
The game will feature 12 different levels to span the twists of the story; the player will be immersed in wonderful environments, from dusty desert caves to thunderstorm flooded rainforests.

With an excellent team of mappers, our goal is to create a set of environments that you don?t just play ? you experience. With a variety of different settings, expect to suffer Cloisterphobia, Agoraphobia, Nyctophobia, Disorientation and Acousticophobia whilst maintaining flow, balance, emersion and fun!

Though I cannot reveal too much information about the storyline, it has been created through the principles of Hollywood scriptwriting, to ensure that it has good structure, narrative, tone and believable characters.

The gameplay features some cool new designs along with the stunning visuals provided by the engine:
- new characters
- new enemies / animal AI
- new weapons
- new vehicles
- a gameplay that will require more than just shooting and puzzle skills
- - expect nothing in this world to follow the physics you would expect! and make sure that you have all your senses at the ready - including your sixth sense - cos your gunna need more than just sight and sound when your in Pitch Black GunFire
